            Dear Miss Dawson:
             
             We are wondering whether you could suggest someone to speak 
             to our organization at its next general meeting.  Most of 
             those who were at the meeting last year expressed a desire to 
             learn more about the cotton market and shipping problems.  
             They seem to think they should be better informed on this 
             important subject.
             
             I am unable to suggest anyone, and you always seem to know 
             where to go to obtain very good speakers.  I shall be in my 
             office Friday morning, if you wish to talk over several 
             possibilities.
             
             It is necessary that the program be published in the 
             newspapers by July 15th, so we must make a decision with 
             reference to the main speaker soon.
